Each movie uses the Grid to explore a different generation's concern about who controls a system built to serve people: a program seizing corporate power in 1982, a system punishing imperfection in 2010, and an AI breaking from its programming in 2025. Watched in sequence, students can track how the same central question shifts as the technology around it changes. The third movie connects those themes directly to current AI debates in a way that only registers if students have followed how those questions were first framed.
